Our colleagues Mariann Szabó and Noémi Csigéné Nagypál, as well as Ahmad Al Araj, PhD student of our department participated in this year’s European Roundtable on Sustainable Consumption and Production (ERSCP - ERSCP2025 |) conference, held in Prague.
The four-day event consisted of four plenary- as well as numerous parallel sections, offering a plethora of different topics all rooted in the themes of sustainable production and consumption, together with diverse workshops.
The work of Mariann Szabó and Noémi Csigéné Nagypál, titled „Application of the circular lifestyle monitor tool on district level” was presented in the section Tools and Metrics for Circular Local Action, while Ahmad Al Araj presented his findings with the title “A Comparative Analysis of Circular and Sustainable Business Models: An Illustration through good practices” in the section Systems Innovation and Digitalization for Circularity.
The workshop hosted by Mariann Szabó and supported by Noémi Csigéné Nagypál, which connected ERSCP and the NiCE Interreg Central Europe (Revitalising fading city centres) project, had participants from London, Manchester and Austrian municipality level experts, who shared their valuable experiences on the topic of factors furthering and hindering sustainable and circular lifestyles.
